The players and coaches landed in their Essentuki base late on Monday night at about 11pm Nigerian time.
Their arrival time was affected by slight delays in their flight from Austria, where they had been training following their friendly matches.
Gernot Rohr’s men are expected to have their first training session following their arrival on Tuesday.
They are the last team in Group D to arrive in Russia for the tournament, with Argentina and Iceland jetting in on Saturday.
Croatia arrived in Russia on Monday afternoon.
Nigeria will take on Croatia in their opening Group D fixture on Saturday at the Kaliningrad Stadium.
The former Vice president, Atiku Abubakar has sent message to the Super Eagles as they depart for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The Super Eagles team departed for Russia on Monday in white and green traditional attire.
Atiku, writing alongside a picture of the team, urged them to make Nigerians proud at the World Cup.
The former president stated that millions of Nigerians were behind the Eagles, as he prayed for their success.
He tweeted “My dear Super Eagles, as you depart for the World Cup in Russia, be assured of the prayers and support of millions of Nigerians as you seek to do us proud.”
